Nike SB Bruin Shoes

Seen here in a light armory blue colourway, with white accents and a gum light brown panel around the front of the toes, this edition of the Nike SB Bruin Ultra has suede uppers and a traditional lace up fastening. Subtle top stitching curves over the front of the toe vamp and across the side panels whilst a small white Swoosh tick has been embroidered onto either side of the foot for signature branding. The fabric tongue is padded with an exposed foam top edge and a colour matched woven label wraps over its top edge showing the Nike SB Swoosh tick logo. On the back of the heel stylised ‘nike’ lettering has been embroidered in white on top of an additional section of suede. Within the shoe a fabric lining has been added for comfort in addition to a Zoom Air unit in the sockliner which protects the foot from repetitive impacts. Auxetic shapes sit between the midsole and outsole to allow for equal pressure dispersal throughout every step and the light armory blue tread has a herringbone pattern for multidirectional grip.

As one of Nike’s first low-top basketball sneakers the Bruin has retained its appeal for over 40 years with a low-cut, simplistic silhouette that was debuted in 1972 and seen in the iconic ‘80s film ‘Back to The Future’. For the Nike SB line the retro model has been upgraded with skate-ready features which enhance comfort, impact protection and boardfeel whilst new colourways each season keep the design looking fresh.
